Officers serve for a two
year term with the exception of the Treasurer who can
serve indefinitely. A rose, a name tag, a rosary booklet, a
band captain list, a membership list and a copy of
the by-Laws are given to each member on induction. Each member is
expected to read and become familiar with the by laws and
is encouraged to take an active part in all the
activities..
The Rosary Altar Society
meets on the third Tuesday in the months of April, May, June,
September, October, November and December. Special meetings
are called as needed. The Rosary is recited at 7:10 pm in
church followed by Mass at 7:30 PM. A monthly meeting follows in
Msgr. Casey Hall and a social coffee is enjoyed by all.
All
women are invited to become members and to share in the many
spiritual benefits of the Rosary Altar Society. Along with
annual dues of $10 a year, fund raisers and raffles are held to help
pay for the altar breads and other charitable donations. We also
take care of the altar cloths and priests
vestments.
Some but not all
activities are:
| September |

Party. |
| October |

and the Area Wide Communion Breakfast hosted by one of ten
neighboring parishes each year. |
| November |

Meetings are held on the
last Thursday of each month at 3:30 PM in Msgr. Casey
Hall. All are invited to join us in our efforts to defend all life,
and to "wrong the right" . We keep informed on all
current issues, write, call, fax or e mail our elected
representatives regarding issues coming up for a vote and letting
them know where we stand on such issues. With the assistance of our
Diocesan Office and the NCCCB our aim is to educate and inform our
parishioners about the many life issues and decisions that we
are dealing with in today's world.
Each county holds a
bi annual regional meeting with the other parish reps in
that specific county. Host parishes hold the meetings on a
rotating basis where reports and idea's are
shared. We place penny jars at the doors of the church to
raise money which is all used for respect life purposes.
We support pro life groups such as Priests for Life, NJ Right
to Life, Good Counsel Homes, Madonna House, Life Dynamics, and
such organizations dealing with families, mothers and children in
need. We participate in the annual march for life in Washington DC
each year.

Our choir practices on
Wednesday night at 6:30 PM and all men and women are invited to
join us as we gather to sing God's praise. We sing at the 11 AM Mass
on Sunday as well as the Masses for special feast days and holidays.
During the summer, singing is optional at the 11 AM Mass for
those who wish to attend. We each pay $2.00 a month to cover
the cost of gifts, cards, stationery/supplies etc when needed. In
June we celebrate with a farewell get together until we return again
in September.
